In Living Color. DURCHLÜFTEN – 2026 Live Concerts & DJ Acts

Over four weekends this summer, the DURCHLÜFTEN music festival transforms the Schlüterhof at the Humboldt Forum into an open-air gathering place, with free admission, where musical traditions from around the world come to life and, through interaction with the audience, become living archives of culture.   

In Living Color is a captivating DJ collective from Berlin that explores Afrobeat, Afrohouse, and Afro-Future sounds. At DURCHLÜFTEN, Emo Rugene and Ben Olayinka represent the collective. Emo, a DJ with Kenyan roots, creates energetic sets in which he blends electronic beats with African-inspired rhythms. Ben—affectionately known as the “Minister of Enjoyment”—is a DJ, runner, and community organizer who brings people together through music, sports, and culture, from the In Living Color collective to his Run & Rave community. After unforgettable sets at past DURCHLÜFTEN events, we’re thrilled to welcome them back as residents from day one in 2026.
