Two crime drama pros are letting loose—with music and cabaret: plenty of murders in an evening full of suspense and wit. In their new show, Kriszti Kiss and Tankred Schleinschock prove that these two elements don’t have to be a contradiction.
Then there’s the savvy businesswoman who gives her clients murderous advice. Her best friend kills mercilessly under a false name—and actually enjoys it. During a rehearsal for a classical play, a murder is committed in the heat of the moment. Right on stage, Mrs. Birnbaum is killed because of her terrible singing. In the past, you could always blame a gardener for everything in such cases. Today, AI takes care of that—though even it sometimes gets out of control when it comes to murder. It’s hard to believe that anyone would still go to bed with a crime novel under these circumstances, but as we all know, evil people don’t sing songs…
Kriszti Kiss and Tankred Schleinschock pay the price for all these deeds. They must win over the audience with their stories. That’s only possible with humor. Laughter is allowed!

Kriszti Kiss earned her acting degree at the renowned State Academy of Dramatic Arts in Budapest, her hometown. She has lived in Dortmund for more than thirty years and has since worked as an actress at many renowned theaters and in independent productions, as well as a cabaret artist and chanson singer.
Tankred Schleinschock has been the musical director, director, and playwright at the Westfälisches Landestheater in Castrop-Rauxel since 1983. He studied music, philosophy, and German language and literature. In his younger years, he was a church musician and countertenor. In 1985, he was among the prize winners in the Song/Chanson category of the National Singing Competition. Guest performances have taken him to venues including the Schmidt Theater in Hamburg, the Bremen Shakespeare Company, the Städtische Bühnen Münster, and the Summer Festival in Bad Hersfeld. Since 2023, he has been performing as a singer and pianist alongside Kriszti Kiss in various duo programs.
