Since 2015, these three exceptional musicians from Leipzig have been taking Central Germany by storm. The band started out as a bluegrass group, but as they began writing their own songs, they added a touch of rockabilly and a bit more American folk to their repertoire.

After about 270 concerts and 4 CD releases, Simon, Tommi, and Kevin haven’t lost a shred of their sense of humor. On the contrary, the multi-instrumentalists’ self-deprecating humor seems to grow with every performance.

If you’re in the mood for handmade music with acoustic instruments, paired with technical finesse and a dash of silliness, Helmet Duty comes highly recommended. Because where helmets are mandatory, ties are optional.
