HEALTH & Perturbator
In the organizer's words:
The world seems to be falling apart—and that’s exactly where HEALTH comes in. What once sounded like dystopian hyperbole now, in 2026, seems almost like a sober assessment of the situation. With their sixth studio album, “CONFLICT DLC,” the Los Angeles-based trio continues to push their approach forward: a sound that defies clear categorization and finds its coherence precisely in that. Industrial, metal, electronic noise, and pop fragments intertwine as if they had never been separate.
Their previous album, “RAT WARS,” already marked this transition to a hybrid style that deliberately navigates between extremes. “CONFLICT DLC” builds on this and intensifies the contrasts: heavy riffs meet club-ready beats, fragile melodies meet explosive outbursts. Songs like “ORDINARY LOSS” or “VIBE COP” unleash a physical force, while “SHRED ENVY” and “THOUGHT LEADER” hint at moments of lightness without ever resolving the underlying tension. It’s music that doesn’t organize the chaos of the present, but rather reflects it. Direct, maximalist, and without compromise.
This approach becomes particularly tangible in a live setting. What HEALTH brings to the stage doesn’t follow the conventions of a traditional show, but manifests as a concentrated burst of energy. The sound presses, pulls, and overwhelms; electronic pads and walls of guitar merge into a state that hovers somewhere between ecstasy and loss of control. In doing so, the band channels a unique form of catharsis. The audience isn’t soothed, but drawn in. What seems fragmented on record comes together on stage to form an intense overall experience: raw, immediate, and physically palpable.
In early August, as part of their “Rat Girl Summer II” tour, they’ll perform a concert in Stuttgart and a co-headlining show with Perturbator in Nuremberg. In November, they’ll embark on a tour of Germany comprising five additional concerts.
