Candle making workshop, hand-poured candles

Hey!

I invite you to beeswax-working workshops in my atelier! Each session is dedicated to one of the techniques used to create candles at Svetlica: poured candles, sculptural candle-making and beeswax objects, or weaving candles from wax rods.

We will gather to explore one of the oldest candle-making techniques - poured candles. At Svetlica, this is our favorite technique and the foundation of every candle we create. We will be working with candles up to 15 cm in height. Thanks to their size, they are perfect, for example, as birthday cake candles - or for lighting during an hour to an hour and a half of focused work, or, on the contrary, during a quiet moment of rest.

The workshops are led by Svetlica founder and chandler Nastia Grigoriadi and take place in our studio in the north of Leipzig.
