Hamburger Kneipenchor

The Hamburg Pub Choir is returning to the Hafenbahnhof to wrap up the summer. Hopefully the weather will still be nice as they perform a short concert on the open-air stage! Afterward, the Hafenbahnhof DJ legends SteRix and Mighty Mike will spin a groovy, danceable mix of hits from the past few decades.

For over ten years, the Hamburg Pub Choir has been synonymous with a style of choral singing never before seen in Hamburg: its rich, full sound, with its infectious energy, catapults every listener out of their everyday routine and straight into pure enjoyment: Mostly a cappella, occasionally accompanied by piano and drums, but always in at least four-part harmony and with a particularly energetic vibe, these roughly 40 Hamburg girls and guys sing their hearts out. Their repertoire is truly one-of-a-kind! Nina Chuba meets Robbie, Robyn dances alongside Rihanna, and Harry isn’t alone anymore; Bilderbuch collides with Roxette, and after Billie Eilish and Keane, Bon Jovi has never been played anywhere else. They sing whatever they like—self-deprecatingly, yet with sophistication.
