Greetings from the Red Cinema: Between Work and Resistance

On July 7, 2026, at 7 p.m., we’ll continue with our summer edition of Red Cinema. Following our events downstairs at medico Haus and at Pupille in Bockenheim, this time we’ll be gathering at@naxos.kinoat 7 p.m. to watch BLACKS BRITANNICA (1978) by David Koff and Musindo Mwinyipembe. We’re really excited about this collaboration and look forward to another evening together at naxos!

Blacks Britannica was censored and banned in the UK relatively soon after its release. The reason was its unsparing, honest, and direct portrayal of a racist class society that was enforced and implemented at all levels of the state in England. We look forward to spending this evening with you and to our traditional post-film discussion, where we’ll try to address any open questions and share perspectives. Come early, come in large numbers, and bring your friends.
