Gankino Circus is back with a new show: a glamorous Saturday night spectacle with a touch of small-town madness! The musical tightrope artists, known from radio and TV, present a rock ’n’ roll spectacle that’s as wild as it is masterful, featuring unbridled dialect pop and feel-good songs with an ’80s sound. But unlike their competitors on local TV, everything at Gankino Circus is live: no lip-syncing, no hidden trapdoors—just groundbreaking musicality and spontaneous entertainment!

Growing up amid freshly painted facades, neatly mowed lawns, and heated pools, the four childhood friends practically absorbed the desire for security and stability with their mother’s milk. But with their first school band together, rebellion struck! Suddenly, it dawned on these future exceptional artists what it’s really all about, why God invented rock ’n’ roll, and why on earth we need a Gankino Circus!

Now touring the big stages, the four world-travelers from East-West Middle Franconia know the turmoil that arises when you’re suddenly catapulted back into the sleepy village idyll of your own youth and confronted there with the very opposite of rock ’n’ roll. These masterful musicians, eccentric characters, and gifted storytellers recount these experiences in their new show, just as they offer quirky insights into the world of cabaret showbiz. So it’s going to be weird, cryptic, and very, very funny once again...
