20.06.2026 the GamesFestival26 will take place at the Media Center Munich.

At the 6th GamesFestival, we will once again celebrate gaming culture in all its facets:
With workshops, talks, play jams, exhibitions, tournaments and much more - all free of charge.

Under the motto "Shortcut", YouthFestival directors Alex, Joscha and Kim will be exploring departures from the usual at GamesFestival26: For the courage to approach things differently, simplify processes and find new solutions.

Organized by young people and adults for everyone with activities for young and old.

Always: Many game stations

GamesPrize award ceremony, Mario Kart Parcous in real life, in augmented reality and on the Switch, how to stream games, DIY AI games, pen and paper, pizza playtest, gaming exhibition, game design workshops, Minecraft competition Future Energy, accessibility in gaming, ways into the games industry, gaming on the ears, cosplay, stories from the gaming world, Just Dance competition, e-sports, world building and story telling workshop.

The GamesFestival is organized by the ComputerSpielAkademie and the Bayerischer Jugendring. The CSA was founded in 2019 by the Munich Media Center of the JFF - Institute for Media Education and is financially supported by the Bavarian Ministry of Social Affairs, the City Youth Welfare Office and the City of Munich.
