Fünf Sterne Deluxe & Massive Töne

Noch niemand hat sich das Event gemerkt.

In the organizer's words:

Fünf Sterne Deluxe and Massive Töne—two trailblazing names in German hip-hop—are set to share the stage at the New Fall Festival! Two legends, one stage, and a rare opportunity to experience the history of an entire culture live—full of classics, memories, and the energy that has defined this music for decades.

Emerging from the duo Der Tobi & Das Bo, Fünf Sterne Deluxe formed in 1997 and made German rap history with their debut album *Sillium*. At a time when hip-hop was still heavily influenced by youth centers, jam sessions, and a vibrant subculture, Fünf Sterne Deluxe succeeded in giving voice to the sound and spirit of an entire generation and making hip-hop accessible to a wider audience.

With classics like “Die Leude,” “Dein Herz schlägt schneller,” “Willst Du mit mir geh’n?” and “Ja, ja... Deine Mudder!,” the Hamburg-based crew developed a style that remains unique to this day. Witty humor, intelligent lyrics, and a playful approach to rap made Fünf Sterne deluxe a standout in the German-speaking hip-hop scene. Their songs combined humor and musical quality with an ease that continues to resonate today.

When it comes to the history of German hip-hop, there’s no getting around Massive Töne either. The Stuttgart-based group is one of the country’s most important and influential rap acts and is considered one of the groups that brought German hip-hop out of youth centers and clubs and into the mainstream.

As early as the mid-1990s, Massive Töne caused a sensation with their debut album “Kopfnicker” and established a sound that continues to influence generations of rap fans to this day. With classics like “Unterschied,” “Traumreise,” “Cruisen,” “Chartbreaker,” “Mutterstadt,” and “Nichtsnutz,” the band made German hip-hop history. Their influence extends far beyond music: Massive Töne were key figures in the legendary Stuttgart hip-hop movement centered around the Kolchose and the 0711 creative network, which brought together artists like Freundeskreis, Afrob, and many others, turning Stuttgart into the “birthplace of German hip-hop.”

Massive Töne’s live performances are rare and considered by many fans to be exceptional events. This makes their appearance at the New Fall Festival all the more extraordinary. When Schowi, Ju, and DJ 5ter Ton take the stage, it’s not just a concert—it’s a piece of German music history.

With Massive Töne and Fünf Sterne Deluxe, the New Fall Festival brings two of the most influential acts from the golden era of German hip-hop to one stage. It’s a lineup you rarely get to see, and it makes this evening a truly special event.
