Fratopia Festival 2026

In its 4th edition in 2026, Fratopia once again sees itself as a lighthouse festival that formulates the utopia of a "concert hall of the future" and boldly opens itself up to a broad, young and international audience. Many parameters of the conventional concert business will be turned upside down:

Free admission to all of the approximately 250 (short) concerts; concertgoers:inside can put together their own program; concerts start (even on weekdays) at 3:00 pm and last until midnight. Through light and atmosphere, especially through the 360-degree staging of the concert halls (central stage), the Alte Oper is perceived as a new, forward-looking place of artistic experience and participation.
