FINISSAGE - Vereinigung der einen unter Ausschluss der "anderen"
In the organizer's words:
How is German reunification remembered, and which perspectives often remain invisible in this process?
The project tutorial “Unification of ‘Some’ to the Exclusion of ‘Others’? A Political Engagement with Memory: Jewish, (Post-)Migrant, and East German Perspectives on German Unification in 1989/1990” cordially invites you to its closing exhibition. The exhibition highlights different perspectives on German reunification and encourages a discussion of the politics of memory. The exhibition is open to the public from August 1–27, 2026.
The closing reception will take place on Thursday, August 27, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Grüner Salon at the “Mehr Mitte” community center (Torstraße 190). The venue is wheelchair accessible, and guests can expect welcome drinks and a supporting program.
