Lessons of Love

At 69, Jola decides to start over again. She leaves her abusive husband after 45 years together and goes to Poland, her home country. She meets up with old friends and her children, who are living their own lives. And she remembers her youth and the time before she met the wrong man. Now, despite all her wounds, she takes her life into her own hands, has dancing and singing lessons - always perfectly made up and well dressed - and repairs the roof of her house. She dreams of happy moments and perhaps also of love. In cooperation with DOK.fest Munich
