Film & Dialog | „A Stone’s Throw: The Many Distances of Love“ Kurzfilmvorführung mit anschließendem Publikumsgespräch
In the organizer's words:
“The Many Distances of Love” — What does that mean?
Sometimes it’s an unspoken phrase between family members. Sometimes it’s the hesitation and waiting that overcome loved ones as they look to the future. Sometimes it’s someone standing on the edge of a diving board, their own fear just centimeters away. Sometimes it’s the short journey of an elderly man in a nursing home, whose destination is so close and yet so far away.
On the evening of July 23, the Chinese Cultural Center Berlin will host the short film screening “A Stone’s Throw: The Many Distances of Love.” The event will feature five Chinese short films—including nominated and award-winning entries—that explore the many forms of love from various perspectives. This will be followed by a Q&A session with one of the directors and a short film expert.
The films are in Chinese with English subtitles. The discussions will be held in English.
