Heidelberg Play Market
The guest country of this year's festival is Canada. In its international guest performance program, the Heidelberg Play Market presents outstanding English-language, French-language and multilingual theater works from Canada's urban centers and rural provinces.
Four new plays from the host country Canada will be presented in German translation in the International Playwrights' Competition. The authors are Émilie Monnet, Erin Shields, Jordan Tannahill and the author duo Marie-Ève Milot and Marie-Claude St-Laurent.
