In October 2026, Erobique will once again put a warm smile on guests’ faces. Eri is a regular at Z-Bau—an entertainer who performs with love, a funky piano virtuoso, an artistic soul, down-to-earth yet with her head in the stars. A person whose music accompanies life’s finest moments: You can get married with Erobique or have a bad trip. You can go raving with him or watch *Tatortreiniger*. You can let loose, reflect on what really matters, or enjoy an overdose of joy. But one thing is absolutely certain: You should go see Erobique in concert as often as possible.

Carsten “Erobique” Meyer is a genre all his own. After every bus carrying the latest disco revival has passed him by—and then turned back—over the past 25 years, there’s simply no other way to put it. When word gets out in the big cities that “Erobique is in town,” countless dance-crazy people between the ages of 18 and 80 look forward to sweaty, almost sacred hours filled with improvised disco riffs and hair-raising vocal interludes. As Germany’s self-proclaimed—and for now, last—disco punk, the “living disco ball” (FAZ) to break up the monotony of beat-mixed laptop DJ culture and thrill his fans with sweat-inducing dance marathons, spontaneous ballad interludes, and wildly quoted wedding oldies.
