Witches were called queer—deviant, out of place, impossible to pigeonhole.
This piece is a declaration of love for the offbeat, a spell cast on labels, and a critical examination of so-called beauty.
Aerial acrobatics, drag, magic, and object manipulation are stirred into the magic potion, promising an intoxicating spectacle full of gender-bending euphoria. “Queer Witch” covers every possible shade of color, is both humorous and thought-provoking, and invites the audience to actively participate.
