Dörte Hansen: Broder

Broder always wanted to be a farmer—but his twin brother Henning inherits their parents’ farm. While Henning modernizes the operation and streamlines it for maximum efficiency, Broder becomes a veterinarian and stays away from farming. When he returns years later and begins to care for his brother’s animals as well, it becomes clear that the apparent success of the highly industrialized farm is beginning to show cracks, and Broder is faced with a decision: Is this his chance to finally take his brother’s place?
