Our society is characterized by the idea that there are only two genders - visible in language, media, advertising, clothing, algorithms and authorities. But this system is incomplete and exclusive: for many people, it doesn't fit and feels wrong. At the same time, the visibility of queer realities is growing - and with it, resistance to them.
The book shows why overcoming the binary gender system can open up new freedoms for everyone and invites people to question norms and constraints.
