The “Green Queen of Berlin” is not only the artistic director of the Germany-wide touring show “Magie der Travestie,” but has also charmed even the toughest sea dogs with her singing, dancing, and tap-dancing skills.Against the backdrop of the city’s most beautiful scenery and accompanied by a delicious spritz, she and Audrey Naline will sing, dance, and provide commentary on the cityscape, delighting the audience—and every landlubber on board. Cast off for the warmest, most musical, and most chaotic boat ride Berlin has ever seen!

Route

We set off from Holsteiner Ufer in Berlin-Moabit and, as we pass Bellevue Palace, imagine what it would be like to be Queen of Germany. We’ll check to see if the rainbow flag has been raised at the HKW and, at the Chancellor’s Office, whether Fritze Merz is there. As we cruise through the government district toward Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg, we’ll shout greetings to Nefertiti on Museum Island, make fun of the City Palace, and wave to the other tourists in the Nikolaiviertel. After passing the Mühlendamm Lock, we make our way to the Mediaspree and the Oberbaum Bridge and back again. The tour ends back in Moabit, and everyone is a few hard facts about Berlin’s history—and a few parts per thousand—richer.
