laut.de described the music as a mixture of stoner rock and metal. Come Heavy Sleep leans heavily on Black Sabbath. Hail the Black Sky also has these influences, but is more melodic and also incorporates Foo Fighters and Audioslave influences. Hydra "still relies on some stoner riffs, but clearly favors the rock part".
According to Janne Stark in The Heaviest Encyclopedia of Swedish Hard Rock and Heavy Metal Ever!, Deville is a stoner band with riffs reminiscent of Les Paul. You can hear influences from Black Sabbath, Kyuss and Fu Manchu in the music.
In an interview with Jörg Staude from Rock Hard, Andreas Bengtsson stated that the band is not only influenced by Black Sabbath and Soundgarden, but also by Mastodon and Kvelertak.
