Dagny is an unstoppable pop force from Norway. Her music has over one billion streams on digital platforms. streams. To date, this includes seven nominations at the Norwegian Grammys (Spellemannprisen) and international media coverage from The Guardian, BBC Music, NME, CLASH and more. Her song "Somebody" and her feature on SeeB's "Drink About" became the biggest hits of her career to date, during which she also wrote songs for artists such as Katy Perry, Ashnikko and Julie Bergan and collaborated with acts such as The Wombats, Steve Aoki, Kygo, Astrid S and Crystal Fighters. By 2025, Dagny had already toured Europe and Norway and played headline slots at Norwegian festivals as main support for Jess Glynne and Justin Timberlake. In spring 2027, the singer will be touring Europe again and can be seen live in Hamburg, Stuttgart, Vienna, Munich and Berlin. Dagny Norvoll Sandvik grew up in Tromsø as the daughter of a jazz singer and a jazz guitarist and began her career as a singer in 2015 with the debut single "Backbeat". In 2016, she released her debut EP "Ultraviolet", which led to a Spellemannprisen nomination as Newcomer of the Year and made her nationally known. This was followed by singles such as "Fool's Gold" (2016) and the singles "Wearing Nothing" and "Love You Like That" (2017), which went platinum in Norway, as well as her feature on SeeB's song "Drink About" and "Hit Your Heart" feat. Steve Aoki. Dagny finally made her international breakthrough in 2020 when she released her debut album "Strangers / Lovers" and celebrated her biggest hit to date with the song "Somebody". "ELLE " - a mini album and follow-up to her debut - followed in 2024 and, after international media acclaim, led her to a monumental show at the sold-out Oslo Spectrum, where she crowned her career to date with an arena show in front of 10,000 people. After the 3-track EP "JUPITER" at the end of 2025, Dagny returned in March 2026 with the song "Dancefloor Erotica" and presented a danceable sound, which she further consolidated with the single "Closet Disco Queen" at the beginning of May. The song serves as another appetizer for her upcoming album, which will be released in the summer and was produced by Matias Tellez (girl in red, Aurora). Elastic synthesizers and a driving pulse hint at a modern synth-pop sound infused with euphoric singalong hooks. With this more physically direct and instinctive songwriting approach, Dagny moves away from any self-doubt, pressure and excessive control and gives herself over to what really matters: the fun in her music.
