CSD - Demo und Kundgebung

The Demo Day kicks off at 11:30 a.m. with the main rally on the stage in front of the opera house. Representatives from the queer community as well as various organizations and initiatives from Leipzig and the surrounding region will speak there.

This year’s program will be hosted by Oliver Viehweg and Luna Neptune.You can also watch it live on YouTube. You’ll find the link in the event calendar on our website.

Starting at 1:00 p.m., we’ll march together through downtown, joining thousands of people to send a powerful message of diversity, equality, and queer visibility. We plan to publish information about the march route and further details about the schedule on our website and social media channels about a week in advance.

Notes from the organizers

The accessibility information primarily refers to Augustusplatz as the rally venue. People with disabilities can follow the events on stage during the rally from a platform equipped with a wheelchair ramp. German Sign Language interpretation will be provided for the rally. In addition, accessible restrooms will be available on both sides of Augustusplatz. We have ensured that the rally route is as accessible as possible. Once again this year, there will be rally vehicles available for people with mobility impairments. Support staff will assist with using the platform and the vehicles as needed.
