Cheesecake 'n' Coffee

Cheesecake 'n' Coffee stands for stylistically open, finely tuned jazz that elegantly combines bossa nova, swing and soulful ballads. The five-piece formation interprets jazz standards from different eras - sometimes relaxed and casual, sometimes groovy and rousing, then again calm and atmospherically dense.

The band's name says it all: Inspired by classics such as "Cheesecake" (Dexter Gordon) and "Black Coffee" (Sonny Burke), the band combines its love of jazz with a palpable lightness and culture of enjoyment, which is also reflected in the warm, approachable band sound.

The experienced line-up creates a versatile sound between modern jazz, Latin and classic swing. Dagmar Küchlin (vocals), Sebastian Mettenheimer (saxophone), Matthias Roth (guitar), Paul Dupont (bass) and Winfried Speeter (drums) form a finely tuned interplay full of groove and atmosphere.
