Change & Grow: Nachhaltigkeit in Namibia

On 15.06. at 5 pm, Welthaus Dortmund and the Sustainable House Foundation Namibia invite you to an information and exchange event on the educational project "Let it grow".

Jasmin Geisler will give an insight into the work of the association in Namibia and the joint project to promote food security and sustainable education in Namibia and Dortmund. While educational programs, workshops and global learning processes take place in Dortmund, practical approaches to self-sufficiency, sustainable agriculture and knowledge transfer are implemented in Namibia, such as the construction of a hydroponics system.

The background to this is the increasing insecurity of the food supply in Namibia: extreme drought, climate change and rising food prices are making access to healthy food particularly difficult for many families in rural regions. The "Let's Grow" project, which is funded by the Postcode Lottery, aims to share knowledge, empower people and make practical solutions for a sustainable future visible.
