In the organizer's words:
Butterwegge Solo could also be called a "musical reading". Of course, there is music, mainly from his own pen, but there are also occasional borrowings from other, preferably German-speaking artists. The Ruhrpott original tells stories from tour buses, from the bar, from snuff cells, from intoxication and punk rock and plays selected songs from 6 albums.
Their latest work "Liebe & Revolte" made it to number 5 in the German album charts. A boozy, sometimes trivial, but also intelligently serious evening, peppered with a good dose of self-mockery, always surprising, intimate and very honest. The fine gentleman is accompanied by Max Kupke, the drummer of the Butterwegge Band. He joins him on cajon and second voice through the Solowegge nights. It will be good, don't miss it!
