Bunter Mockauer Sommer 2026

In the organizer's words:

Here we go again! Together with many institutions, associations and schools from Mockau and the neighbouring districts, the Office for Housing and Urban Renewal and the INTIGRA+ neighbourhood management are organizing the district festival for the ninth time. Numerous handicraft and hands-on activities, participation and information stands as well as live music, dancing and an open stage invite you to linger on the green space opposite Otto-Michael-Straße 16-22.

The event is sponsored by the Cultural Office and the Office for Housing and Urban Renewal of the City of Leipzig.

Program highlights:

Saturday, June 20

Knalltheater - Theater for children (14 - 14:45)

Mert Güney & Band - Rock and Folk (17:30 - 19 h)

Dance workshop for all generations (1 - 5 p.m.)

Sunday, June 21

Citizens' breakfast (10 a.m. - 12 p.m.)

Saxophonist Jon Triol (11 am - 12:30 pm)

Rosa Poposa - magic show (12:30 - 13:30)

Index F - Funk, Rock'n'Soul (15 - 16:30)

There will also be action painting, soccer billiards, wooden games, face painting, giant soap bubbles, a floristry workshop, screen printing and much more!

Note: Help us to reduce waste at the festival - bring your own cups/containers/cutlery! Alternatively, drinks will be served in €2 deposit cups.
