British Shorts Summer Edition at Sputnik Kino am Südstern

On Sunday, August 2 - for one night only - the British Shorts Film Festival takes over its winter home, the legendary Sputnik Kino (which was founded by squatters in a backyard in Kreuzberg in the 1980s). Look forward to a colorful screening with a selection of seven short films from Great Britain and Ireland. We bring a genre mix of comedy, drama, animation, experimental and documentary from the land of bad weather to you in sunny Berlin! The program opens with the short documentary "After Eight", the winner of the Audience Award.

The screening is part of the British Shorts Summer Edition, which presents highlights from this year's festival edition outdoors (Freiluftkino Insel at Atelier Gardens and Freiluftkino Friedrichshain) and indoors (Sputnik Kino) from July 31 to August 2.
