A dance-based research workshop on (physical) resonance, interpersonal relationships, and voids

In the modern world, we hardly ever have to come together anymore: We talk via chat or video calls, headphones shield us from the outside world—and since the advent of artificial intelligence, we don’t even need another person to have a conversation.

But isn’t something missing here? Do we miss our conversation partners? How do we deal with the void(s) that arise in a world that distances us from one another and disembodies us? What happens when the connection between (human) bodies fades, and why is it so important?

We invite anyone interested to explore these questions through dance! The research will be incorporated into a solo piece by Reclaiming Dance. We look forward to seeing you there.
