"Bitte vergesst nicht, euch zu waschen" Tour - Ersatzkopf (Bierpunk / Darmstadt)
In the organizer's words:
"Replacement heads" do not refer to the replacement heads made of shatterproof, shatter- and wear-resistant polyamide that you can buy from Ochsenkopf, nor are they the distinctive shape of an ancient Egyptian sculpture used exclusively during the Old Kingdom as part of burial goods. No, Ersatzkopf is a band. On their albums—all of which have titles like “Something-with-Awesome”—razor-sharp guitar riffs pair with groovy basslines and driving drums. But it’s the perfect blend of powerful music and expressive lyrics that makes Ersatzkopf so unique in the German music scene. Songs like “Police Violence” or “Screwed Up My Studies Because of Weed” showcase their profound complexity. Their orbital smash hit “Vomit Everywhere”—which revolves around a chase with aliens—is a real showstopper. The band on themselves: “Punk, but bad”; the Bierschinken.net forum on them: “I saw them once as the opening act for Team Scheisse—yeah, that’s mainly why I was there. And then, unfortunately, they were really shitty. Not even like the kind of shitty that’s likable. Just totally shitty. But I heard they never rehearse either. Afterward, I was disappointed. So shitty. Because the songs themselves are all awesome. But the show itself was about as exciting as the Nudelwerk in Riesa...”
The tour is presented by Bierschinken.net and krachfink.
