and recipient of the Special Prize at the German Cabaret Awards. Following the tremendous success of “Das Graue vom Himmel,” Birgit Süss now presents her new musical cabaret on stages around the world:
“The Little Things”—a show that tells big stories through life’s little moments: a fast-paced, touching, and hilarious journey through true absurdities and absurd truths in search of mindful living—somewhere between an Ayurvedic retreat and a pharmacy magazine — Feminine, sassy, and fearless. While everyone else is still out there conquering the world and fighting over the best lounge chair by the pool, Birgit Süss has long since secured the most beautiful spot in the Friedwald. And there’s a wonderful selection of songs—about minimalists or allotment gardens—musically accompanied by the brilliant Klaus Ratzek (tuba & double bass). “Die kleinen Dinge” (The Little Things) is a musical cabaret evening full of joie de vivre, depth, and quirky everyday poetry. A program for everyone who knows: Life doesn’t always have to be big to be great.
