Biodiversitäts-Show - Dominik Eulberg im Gasometer Oberhausen

Nature has no lobby—and that’s a major problem. The biodiversity crisis, in particular, poses a threat to the future of humanity—a fact that many have not yet fully grasped.
On August 4, directly beneath the light art installation “The Tree,” Dominik Eulberg invites us on a journey into another world so that we can better understand our own. A trained ecologist, he’s a boundary-crosser: on the one hand, he’s been an internationally successful DJ for over 30 years; on the other, he’s an author whose nature book “Mikroorgasmen Überall” was named Nonfiction Book of the Year. With his multimedia, audiovisual show at the Gasometer, Eulberg now transports us into the wondrous world of nature right on our doorstep, presents insects at eye level, recreates bird calls on his synthesizers, and illustrates their exuberant diversity in music videos.
Ticket price: 25 euros (reduced rate: 22 euros)

Event starts at 7:30 p.m.
This ticket grants access to the “Mythos Wald” exhibition on the day of the event from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. or, following the lecture, until 11:00 p.m. Please note that for organizational reasons, the Gasometer will be closed and completely cleared from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM. Admission begins at 6:30 PM.
Discounts:
High school students, college students, retirees, or individuals over 65, people with severe disabilities, the unemployed, participants in the Federal Volunteer Service, graduates of the “Voluntary Social Year” program, and individuals receiving social assistance are eligible for a discounted ticket. Appropriate proof must be presented upon entry to the Gasometer.
