BIKE IT! Festival 2026

The Bremen Festival of Bicycle Culture.

The BIKE IT! Festival 2026 invites you to Überseeinsel for the fifth time and offers a variety of activities and themes centered around bicycles! The program features an exciting mix of cycling, culture, and art, along with rides and action: at a specially curated expo, bike retailers will showcase their finest models, offer advice, and provide test rides. A workshop program offers plenty of opportunities to learn—whether it’s the basics of keeping your bike in good shape or how newer technologies like electronic shifting, tubeless tires, and waxed chains work. There are various rides ranging from athletic to social, an open-air bike parts flea market, and, of course, street food—including a “Haute Cuisine” bike kitchen. The fun begins at the Playground, with activities ranging from mini-BMX races and slow biking to the big “Fahrrad-Tjoste”—the ultimate disc golf challenge on bikes. And even the littlest ones can try out the mini-parkour course.

As the icing on the cake, there’s music from DJ-Bikes, and the Kolleggs studios might even contribute a work of art or two.

Saturday evening will be sweetened by the Glorypedalling bike travel talk“Between Kangaroos and Pagodas” and a surprise bike cinema program to wrap things up.

We’ll be welcoming the ADFC bike rally, which rolls onto the grounds on Sunday.
