The next edition of Boom Your Brains at Standpunkt 64: Following “Twistomat” comes “Synaptor”! A new mix of questions and new challenges featuring images, text, and sound—same fun! For repeat participants: Please check the volume briefly!

Boom Your Brains is the quiz event organized by the Cologne-based Funfusion collective—founded by us (Vera & Ute), two sisters who grew up in Erftstadt. Just like with our Pocket Quizzes, the motto is: Brains come together. Your knowledge will be put through our Twist Generator! Combine, twist, decode, think outside the box—and on top of that: lots of laughter! Finally, a quiz with AHA! and HAHA!

👀Eating, drinking, and quizzing all happen simultaneously—it’s a breeze with us. Sometimes things get a little wild at the table—and that’s exactly part of the fun. 😉

🎤 DAD SINGS: You have to identify songs sung by our dad and guest stars from the family—yes, really. Very funny!
🗞️ FAKE NEWS: “Alternative facts” with a twist! In the newspaper titled “BALLA BALLA,” someone has thoroughly distorted the facts in both text and images. Find the “fake news.”
 

👥 TICKETS & TEAMS

• Whether with friends, family, or as a team event with us—games are played in teams of 2–5 people.
• There are also early-bird tickets—if you want to make sure you get in, you’d better grab them quickly.
   

TIMES:Feel free to arriveright at 6:30 p.m. and get ready to start with drinks and food.

📍 LOCATION & ATMOSPHERE
We’ll be hosting the quiz in the gorgeous beer garden at Standpunkt 64, with a view of the greenery and a relaxed summer evening atmosphere. Behind Standpunkt 64 is Mandy, who runs the place with a lot of passion. You can tell that from the menu: they still cook everything fresh here! Homemade sauces, schnitzel pounded fresh daily, hand-formed burger patties, and plenty of regional ingredients provide the perfect foundation for a relaxed quiz night.
