Jan Meessen is a passionate magician who has performed on many stages. He makes objects levitate, reads the audience’s minds, teleports objects to another location, or makes them vanish. He combines these magical feats with his sense of humor. For this evening, Jan has put together a program of very special magic tricks to entertain you.

This time, stand-up comedian Xenia Brandt will be the special guest for the evening’s opening act. Xenia is living proof that you can still be wonderfully childlike even after 30! Full of crazy ideas and with a keen eye for the little absurdities of everyday life, she delights her audience with sharp observations and self-deprecating humor. Xenia proves: You don’t have to take everything seriously. Especially not yourself!

Jan and Xenia love to combine their performances with a good cause. That’s why the show at the Centralkomitee is being held to benefit Hinz&Kunzt, the Hamburg street magazine. The donations will specifically support Hinz&Kunzt’s winter emergency program. From November through March, up to six homeless people at particularly high risk of health complications are housed in single or double rooms in a residential facility, each with a small bathroom and cooking facilities. The costs for this are covered by donations.
