"becoming dragonfish to survive" is a workshop where participants create notebooks of care and personal cosmologies. These notebooks can later be given as gifts to someone close - a friend, partner, or loved one - who may be going through a difficult time.
The workshop is inspired by the striking sketchbook A Female Landscape, which artist Mildred Thompson created in 1977 for poet and activist Audre Lorde after Lorde's cancer diagnosis. Both were Black American lesbian artists living in Germany at the time.
