In addition to playing the baritone saxophone, Valentina Oefele is also passionate about composing. A recipient of the 2025 BMW Young Jazz Artist Award, she enjoys writing for multiple wind instruments and exploring timbres. In her small ensemble, the virtuoso Alexander v. Hagke provides harmony, dynamic tension—and power!
