In the organizer's words:
The energy and diversity of the circle dances from the Balkan region not only captivate spectators but also invite people to join in and give them a try.
United in the circle dance—the original form of dance—we understand one another even without knowing the language and feel right at home.
The Detelina dance group of the German-Bulgarian Society Dresden e. V. invites young and old alike to join in the joyful horo. We’ll be dancing circle dances from Albania, Bulgaria, Greece, Croatia, Romania, Serbia, and Turkey.
