AnnPhie Fritz’s debut show—for which she was awarded second place at the prestigious Passauer Scharfrichterbeil in 2025 and the Silver Broom in Stuttgart in 2026—is a yoga class with a twist. Actually, AnnPhie just wants to get through her first session as a holistic life coach as smoothly and empathetically as possible. But something always distracts her…
Something still needs to be explained, justified, or quickly finished.
So that she can then truly—I mean, really—be in the moment and confidently guide her audience into ultimate relaxation. If only she
weren’t always so tired. Where on earth does this tiredness come from? AnnPhie
meditates so intensely, she relaxes so deeply—how, pray tell, could she
still be tired!?
So AnnPhie sets out to find the source of this ominous
exhaustion. Along the way, she stumbles upon topics like self-optimization, social
fears, and shattered dreams; she questions false national pride, imposed role models, and political claims, and stumbles upon a whole heap of contradictions that not only completely blur her own boundaries but also make the boundaries of reality blur.
AnnPhie pokes fun at society from the perspective of the white, queer-feminist, vegan, yoga-practicing millennial “snowflake” that she
just happens to be. But even old, heterosexual men agree: This
show is very funny. Because AnnPhie Fritz’s first solo cabaret show
is a fast-paced trip, a journey of leaps in thought, a one-woman show
with plenty of physical comedy—(crazy) funny, clever, and also a little bit wicked. Skillfully
she jumps between scenarios, slips into different roles, takes the
audience along on a quest for a better world, and always knows
. Especially after the intermission.
