In 2027, fans of Alte Bekannte can look forward to a very special live experience: The successful a cappella group—which has enjoyed great success in German-speaking countries as the successor to the legendary Wise Guys—is embarking on an extensive anniversary and farewell tour.
Ten years after their formation, the band is taking this opportunity to bid farewell to their audience with an extraordinary “best-of” program. The tour will not only be a look back at an eventful and successful band history, but also an emotional journey through the highlights of their musical career. In addition to the unforgettable classics by the Wise Guys, the setlist naturally includes the most popular songs from the band’s own repertoire—spanning all five studio albums, including the successful Top Ten CD “Das Leben ist schön.”
Despite all the melancholy, the concerts are meant to be one thing above all else: a huge party full of fun and infectious energy. The audience is invited to laugh, sing along, and celebrate to their heart’s content. The unmistakable blend of charm, wit, and musical precision for which “Alte Bekannte” are known will once again be on full display in all its diversity.
For the band itself, this tour is a very special moment. Björn Sterzenbach, Clemens Schmuck, Daniel “Dän” Dickopf, Friedemann Petter, and Ingo Wolfgarten would like to take this opportunity to personally say goodbye to their loyal fans, longtime companions, and all their supporters.
Thus, the 2027 anniversary and farewell tour promises to be not only a musical highlight but also an emotional event full of gratitude, memories, and unforgettable moments—a fitting conclusion to a special band’s history.

THE VOCALISTS Björn Sterzenbach: Age-wise, Björn falls in the lower middle range of the band; on stage, he’s usually responsible for laying the musical foundation on bass, while his combination of bass vocals and beatboxing (“mouth percussion”) provides a “solid groove” on many songs. Thanks to his versatile vocal range, however, Björn also shines as a soloist well above the bass range. Offstage, he handles organizational matters and stylishly selects the band’s stage outfits.
Clemens Schmuck: If, during an Alte Bekannte concert, you hear noises, sounds, or beats that are hard to imagine being produced by a human voice, it’s almost certainly Clemens who’s responsible for them. Clemens is the band’s top beatbox specialist, and nearly all of the live arrangements are his creations. He composes many of the band’s songs and is now also active as a lyricist.
Daniel “Dän” Dickopf: Dän, a founding member and the creative force behind the legendary Wise Guys, writes most of the lyrics and many of the compositions, and serves as the main host, guiding the audience through the show on stage.
Friedemann Petter: The youngest band member joined the band in 2020 and has also proven himself as a composer of popular Alte Bekannte songs such as “Lehrerkind” and “Ja ja Stress.” Friedemann lowers the average age and enhances Alte Bekannte’s athletic image; moreover, with his voice (a semifinalist on “The Voice of Germany” in 2016), his charm, and his stage presence, he has completely won over the fans in no time at all.
Ingo Wolfgarten: On stage, Ingo often evokes deep emotions with his voice—not just when he reimagines Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You” with a nod to his Eifel homeland. As the producer of the albums, he is primarily responsible for Alte Bekannte’s sound and produces almost everything the band releases.
Doors open at approx. 4:30 p.m.
