Alles gute kommt von unten

In the organizer's words:

ALL GOOD THINGS COME FROM BELOW!

On August 29, 2026, we’ll be protesting with Demorave 26 starting at 3 p.m., together with 16 floats and over 45 collectives on Helgoländer Allee. Under the slogan “All Good Things Come from Below,” we’ll be demonstrating for solidarity and making a clear call to action: Get involved!

The far right is pushing for power, and conservatives are paving the way for them. As our society becomes increasingly divided, we’re demonstrating and organizing with and for people who are affected by racism, sexism, anti-queer bigotry, capitalist exploitation, and other forms of oppression—or who are fighting against them. Because we believe in solidarity.

We are Reclaim, an alliance rooted in electronic music culture. From organizing events, we know how difficult it can be to gain access to resources. Through alliances with other activist groups and social initiatives, we see that many face similar challenges. How do we organize ourselves? How do we distribute responsibility? How do we preserve knowledge? How do we access resources?

And at the same time, we all see it. We’re facing a world that’s about to change. How it changes is up to us! Because change begins where people come together and take the initiative themselves—in collectives, on dance floors, in neighborhoods, in political groups, and in self-organized spaces. And most of the time, simply with what’s already there. But no one should have to start from scratch over and over again. Many collectives and initiatives build up knowledge over the years, but when these groups disappear after a few years, that knowledge is often lost as well. That’s why we want to share experiences and make organizing more accessible. So we don’t just want to celebrate or protest—we also want to talk about the conditions under which all of this happens.

Social justice must be fought for, defended, and expanded. Right now, many social gains are under pressure. That’s why we’re calling on people to get involved. For us, that means we won’t wait for others to organize our future for us. We’re taking the initiative ourselves, sharing knowledge, and building structures that will last. In the coming months leading up to the major demonstration, we’ll be introducing activist groups and offering workshops on how to organize as a group. We want to pass on what many have learned. Get involved.
