Alex Misko, a modern fingerstyle guitar prodigy, is captivating audiences worldwide and represents a remarkable new generation in his craft. From viral videos to Carnegie Hall, his music bridges old and new, captivating people online and at his live shows. With six albums, worldwide tours and a unique instrument, he is a true guitar maestro.

Although he is only 20 years old, Misko's performances have already gained wide recognition both in his home country and abroad. Inspired by the pioneering musicians who shaped and expanded the genre, Misko is breaking new ground while staying true to the essence of the music and keeping the legacy of the genre as strong as ever.

Alex's musical journey is both impressive and straightforward. He began playing at the age of 12 and studied classical guitar for three years with a private teacher. After discovering modern "fingerstyle" guitar music on the internet, he set out to master it self-taught.

In 2015, Misko's video of his own composition "Guitar + Pen Tapping Song" quickly reached over a million views, becoming his first major online success while still a student. In 2016, his cover video of Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean" reached more than 30,000,000 views on Facebook and marked an important milestone for his entry into the international guitar scene.

The first single from his next album, a rendition of George Michael's "Careless Whisper", reached over 80,000,000 views on Facebook and YouTube within a month in 2017. Since then, Misko's YouTube channel has grown exponentially and now has around 900,000 followers. In October 2018, he was awarded the prestigious title of "Guitarist of the Year" by the renowned British magazine "MusicRadar".

In November 2019, he released his third solo album "Roundtrip", which is known for its innovative sound and mature compositions and represents a high point in his musical output at the time. In January 2020, he shared the stage of the legendary Carnegie Hall with the world-famous harpist Alexander Boldachev. This initial collaboration later developed into a dynamic duo that put on an exciting live show in which such different instruments work as one. Since then, in addition to their solo work, Alex & Alex have performed together at festivals all over the world, focusing on both guitar and classical music.

Over the years, Misko has released six albums and has actively performed all over the world, from America to Japan, playing concerts and also teaching at workshops and lectures. Despite the challenges of the global pandemic and the fact that he was unable to travel, Alex continued to build his profile and audience, keeping in touch with his fans and exploring new avenues of collaboration.

In 2021, Misko released the album "Take Your Time" with one of Europe's most promising bassists, Dmitriy Toporov, following the success of several of the duo's popular videos and singles. Around the same time, the German brand "Baton Rouge Guitars" and Alex developed an unprecedented instrument to realize all the new ideas that a normal guitar could not handle. They called it the Frankenstein Guitar, and it's something to behold. It is the only acoustic guitar in the world that allows the player to make quick tuning changes thanks to its unique triple tuning system, modified with a percussive drum kit system and 14 pickups to bring its sound to the stage in its true massiveness.

Misko works tirelessly with fellow musicians such as Jon Gomm, Mike Dawes, Andrea Valeri and Alan Gogoll to strengthen the guitar community and make it a friendly, supportive and joyful place for all, no matter where they come from. In 2023, he made the decisive move from Russia to Germany. This decision marked a new chapter in his career and allowed him to collaborate with other European artists and tour more extensively.

In the same year, the Alexandr Misko Signature Guitar was released in collaboration with "Baton Rouge Guitars" based on the experimental Frankenstein. Misko's goal was to create a unique but affordable guitar tailored to modern fingerstyle playing, giving other musicians the opportunity to follow in his footsteps but create something new and different thanks to this new instrument.

With his unique style that seamlessly blends technical innovation and musicality, Misko's original compositions appeal to listeners from all walks of life as his music transcends cultural boundaries and speaks a universal language.
