Alexander Malofeev Klavierabend
In the organizer's words:
He was already in the spotlight as a teenager—and now he has reached the “very top,” captivating audiences as a “lyricist with a penchant for romanticism” (Die Presse). At the age of 13, Alexander Malofeev won first prize and the gold medal at the International Tchaikovsky Competition for Young Musicians. Following his Adler debut with the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, the recital by this young artist—who now lives in Berlin—promises richly contrasting miniatures and dramatic major works brimming with energy, color, and musical personality.
Works by Couperin, Tchaikovsky, Prokofiev, and Liszt
