Beautiful view
Tini Aliman's improvised arrangement uses the forest as an active field of signals, resonances and temporal transitions through which nature becomes an active player in the composition. In the performance, the acoustics of the undergrowth, the canopy and the relationship to the inner structures of the forest come to the fore. The resulting composition emerges from the interplay between the artist, the instrumentation, the non-human signals of the forest and the temporal uniqueness of the summer solstice.
