In their songs, the Munich-based indie band tackles topics such as mental health, body positivity and feminism. The five musicians around the eponymous front woman package these serious topics in a danceable sound of punky indie with a twisted 80s flair. The charm of Elena's distinctive, raspy voice is at the heart of this snotty indie sound.

In the lyrics, Elena addresses anxiety, sexism and toxic relationships and speaks from the soul of her generation - somewhere between self-hatred and an insanely good life.
